Stryker is that dog you need to meet to truly absorb his presence. When he walks in a room every head turns and people always comment on his total command of the situation. His pictures and videos are good, but to actually meet him in person…….
Describing all of his virtues would be like writing a book. He is what a true Chesapeake Bay Retriever is meant to be and what every breeder should strive for in their programs.
In the field he is always “all in” and no game is ever left behind, his drive is second to none. When he is done working, he comes home and is content curled up in front of the fireplace. His personality is happy and fun but will not shy away from becoming all business when required. When in any situation you could not ask for a better friend to be standing by your side loyal to the end.
He loves to learn and anything we have challenged him to do, he quickly learns and rises to the top of the class. He is definitely a rare find and a complete pleasure.
He excelled in the show ring also, receiving his Ch on 5/25/18 going Best of Breed over Champions out of the open class. He quickly earned a GCH on 8/15/18 and became a Bronze GCH in 9/13/19 with several BOB’s wins and Group placements. During this time he also went to the National Specialty Show through the ACC where he was awarded an Award of Merit at only 1 ½ years old and won a second Award of Merit a few months later at the MCBRC Specialty.
